    B1100 Over spraying please help

Hi i have a b1100 epson scince buying it it has been replaced 3 times for a new printer under warranty due to mechanichal issues and the most recent one i have had is 2 months old,ive been printing with sublimination for 4 years now and through out that time ive always seem to have a issue with over spraying on magenta usually i find its to do with refilling the cartridges before the printer wants to but lately nothing i do helps the new printer and all my printouts are way too pink ive also noticed pink spray around the edges of the images
Heres what i have tried to fix the issue so far
New cartridges :printer really hated this and wont recognise them unless i put normal ones in first still over printing
Cleaning the heads with the settings on the printer : doesnt solve the over spraying but does stop the spray around the edge of the images
cleaning the nozzle heads by hand again gives a better quality print out but still to pink
printing with a different program: have tried photo shop and corel both came out worse best was office colour wise
reducing the magenta to 0: worked for a while until the printer ran out of ink then even with 0 magenta on the settings is printing way to pink

I have used the same ink for years and know when working its brilliant i use true pix paper and usually get great print outs however this time i dont seem to be able to get the printer going right and have some big orders on ,when i do reduce the ink to 0 and get a ok image when i print it in the press some areas are still to pink im guessing the magenta is off balance im going to try a full clean today and get to the nozzles with a cleaning solution and a cotton bud but im really worried this is something to do with the printer thinking it should be using more ink
as its epson this isnt the sort of problem they will help with so any advice would be great im ready to try watering down the ink at the moment as im at my wits end with it
    many thanks cerri

what sublimation ink are you using?
The print outs being too pink could be an ICC profiling issue, and unrelated to the overspraying.

Hi im usuing one we have used for years of our supplier its not a branded name if it is its in a different bottle ,we have printed items which are fine so thats why i dont think its the ink and these problems usually occur when im changing the cartridges ,ive just put in 4 normal cartridges and its reset itself then ive placed the sub carts in and its printing in the correct colours more or less but now adding more pink to just certain elements in the image on one side of the mug i have several presses so have tried it in all of them and i have 4 mugs with correct colour one side and slight pink edges the other it seems i correct one issue and another pops up ill ask if the supplier has a colour profile for the ink i thought it was over spraying as around the images 5-% of the time you can see a fine pink spray

If your inks come in unmarked/unbranded bottles, how do you know what is actually in them, and whether your supplier is always supplying the same ink, and not whatever he can get cheaply that month. Not all sublimation inks are the same, in terms of formulation, viscosity, colour or quality.
I would recommend finding a supplier who can get you quality sublimation of known origin from a reputable brand/manufacturer in branded bottles.
You state you've been doing this for 4 years, and have been using, I guess, the same ink supplier for this time, during which your printers have died and been replaced - maybe there is a problem with the quality of the inks themselves.
