This is a great idea, no problems with bandwidth and space so don't worry about that. We'd need to work out how it would work and if you want it to be premium members only.

I am prepared for my works to freely available to those who have paid for premium membership, it will benefit them so in return they can benefit the forum, why not?
As well as getting a discount from suppliers they get access to free artwork.

As i am designing constantly i have some great new designs all the time, also my custom fonts always go down well. Bearing in mind i can charge upto £40-50 for a font on dafont etc its a serious bargain to current and new members and an excellent incentive to support the community.

My vote is premium members library only.

Justin the vbullieten website will have a downloads extension. That would do the trick maybe also a new forum section for it too. Premium members only.

You can set it up to certain user groups each permission. So free members could maybe view but not download. I would be interested in help managing it if possible.

what kind of designs we talking about here? I am not great designer but those kind of things are normally designed from ready made artwork...

I see this this way... ALL graphics are available to see by ALL members but download will require premium membership. this would be only fair options i think.
Also wee have graphic section here too. so if somebody willing to share they design with ALL members regardless if premium or not then can be posted there...

Sounds like a plan. Maybe the downloads to have categories for each type of download. So we can share any files that may help others.

why not create a 'super premium' membership, cost is 5 designs ?

Maybe multi level membership could work, contribution based sounds good, but what about those people who cant design?

I'm loving how this idea is gaining traction :) I am more than happy for it to be available topremium members only but I'm not too sure about the super premium designs logobear, JMO though. I would only be too happy to help with the admin side of things if needed.

I'd like to get this going and see how it pans out. Certainly Premium Members only and we'll monitor that closely. Just testing the downloads module and will post again when I can.

Just been reading this thread with interest.. I am definitely no fabtastic designer.. but wouldn't mind trying out some ideas in return for others.

I agree with it being premium members.. as mentioned before keeps the forum going too and no one just coming on for the designs and not adding anything to the forum itself..
