Any Idea of Glass Etching using Etching Creams....

Hi Guys please share your experience about Glass itching using a Etching Cream please ..Are they durable and looking good ....Is there a huge difference between using a tool or a machine to using Etching Cream method ....Thanks in advance ..

Etching cream works well but be careful not to get it were you don't want it because it will mark the glass even if you wipe it of straight away.

The cream works so well it will still etch once diluted, I use Etchall, I am having real problems with it going where it shouldn't, and have noticed you can get a faint etch if you get any over a non masked part whilst washing off. You can get a blocker gel I think i will have to invest in that.
Whilst researching I saw that cheap glass works best, i personally have only tried the cheap glass and it works great.
I have watched demos for the sand etching and the results from that is far better than the cream etch, buts a huge set up cost!

Blast etching is better because it goes deeper into the glass as regards your non masked areas getting damaged just mask them with off-cuts of vinyl.
