Dunking Mugs - It works!!

Do you dunk in hot or cold water.....I really hate the noise the mug makes if I dunk.

Warm to start with and as you dunk more and more it gets hotter but still has the desired effect of cooling from sublimation temperature and averting 'ouch ouch' fingers.

I take straight from the press with paper still intact and run the hot water first into the mug then with cold water a little slower to avoid a drastic change in temperature , I don't do many mugs but so far not had any problems .

We shall certainly try paper on when dunking next time to save those burnt fingers!
