My ricoh hasn't really been used that much as I've been concentrating on tees but I turn it on now and again to give it a wee turn.

I turned it on today and the boot up time was like 10-15 minutes and it has almost swallowed all the blue ink and now have a low ink message.

I've printed about 30 mugs in total

Anybody else had this problem, is this a problem with charging the ink system as it has been sat not being used?

I would leave it turned on and let it go into sleep mode, will use a little ink doing it's cycle now and again, but less than a prime every time you turn it back on, turning it off may cause the heads to block up over time!

scotty,

yes thought that might be the issue, test prints show head is ok, might bang it back on and let it go tp sleep, bloody expensive though!
