Epson SC-F6300 Ink issue

Hi All,

I have a question regarding refilling the ink of the Epson SC-F6300 – I contacted my supplier have not hardback in over a week.

The printer notified me that I needed to refill the cyan and yellow inks. I did what the manual stated i.e. replace the old chip with the ones that came with the new inks and then refill the ink tanks. Having done this I was expecting the filled bars to go back up to the full 6 but the printer is still only on one bar and the icon for the cyan and yellow inks has changed but I have no idea what this means (see image).

Anyone had any experience with the unit that can help?

We no longer have our 6300 (superb though they are) but I seem to remember there is an option to reset the ink level? We were also told never to replace until it tells you to do so.
