Inspirational Businesses

Post by GoldRapt »

Just saw an advert on faceb**k for https://www.sipfullofdesign.com/pages/o ... y-about-us

Wow, they look very professional. I imagine the licencing on the named products must cost a few bob.

But the web sites very nice to surf and their mugs look exceptional, and cheap too.

Hopefully hey are members here.

It certainly is. However the one thing I dont yet understand is their statement--Full-Wrap Premium Print

Our designs wrap all the way around the mug — including the handle side — for a finish that stands apart from standard prints.----I have yet to come across a full wrap mug on their site, they all finish before the handle from what I can see. Is it even possible to do a full wrap under the handle?

It is possible to do a wrap under the handle, but the failure rate is high!

The idea is simple, the paper is long enough to overlap under the handle. You cut out the holes for the handle. You then wrap the paper around and tape it together as tight as you can on the overlap. Then put your wrap on as usual, sling it in the oven as usual. Now this is where things change, you grab your lucky rabbits foot, cross your fingers, and any other thing that you feel may bring you luck. Now if all goes to plan you have a full wrap around print......maybe. :D
