sublimation slates
Re: sublimation slates
It'll have to wait until next time Steve.
The last couple of slates (included the few I did today) are of childrens pics and I doubt the family would want me posting there pictures everywhere (I know I wouldn't).
Next time I do one I'll do another generic one.
Oh and that reminds me ...................... what do you get between a heat press that can only go up to 5 minutes and a slate that needs cooking for 8?

deaf! 3 minutes of the peeping sound does my head in .............. I'll be looking at the circuit board tomorrow ..... joke - wouldn't want to infringe on any warranty I have

Can you not just open the press and close it again and save it beeping for 3 minutes?AdamB;18455 wrote: Oh and that reminds me ...................... what do you get between a heat press that can only go up to 5 minutes and a slate that needs cooking for 8?

Re: sublimation slates
Count yourself lucky. Mine has a maximum time of 60s on the press, and nothing I press takes less than 60s. I recall asking BMS what to do about this, and he said to cut the wires to the timer. I've no idea if that would have worked, because I've never been brave enough to try it. Didn't fancy ruining a £500 press just because of a little audio discomfort! :biggrin:AdamB;18455 wrote:Oh and that reminds me ...................... what do you get between a heat press that can only go up to 5 minutes and a slate that needs cooking for 8?
