Hi all,
anyone know the best way to replace the cart assembly and pipes on a new ciss system? Bearing in mind the system is full at the moment??

Ah - I see, so the ink won't come out from the tubes connected to the ink unit ................. tell me though Justin, if I take the cartridge assembly out (the one that's in the printer at the moment) and hold it higher than the ink unit will the ink flow back into the unit?
Or am I expected to get a bit of ink coming through from the cartridge side anyway?
To be honest - I was just going to unscrew the old one off and see what happens but I wanted to save ink and multicoloured fingers if I had a spillage.

Paul, Justin - thank you I spent about 20 minutes looking at it and then read Johns post ................... think I'll leave it for now as I'm in the middle of doing a batch of white t-shirts
John, very funny - I remember posting last year about the postman that turned up in the shop with a 'problem package' - I had ordered some pigment ink and the yellow had exploded in the sorting office. The guys there had put it in a clear bag and asked the local postie to still deliver it. He looked like one of the simpsons when he got to us!
When he told me I smiled and said - have you got a runny nose? yes, the end of his nose was bright yellow too! (apparently it took weeks to wash).
