Has Orca Coatings changed?

Crazy isn't it? A rose by any other name. Call it a million different things, and then claim it's the *only* 100% dishwasher safe product on the market. Do suppliers really think we're so dense that we can be so easily hoodwinked?

Well, I for one do not care what they call the coating if it is 100% dishwasher proof and at the right price. But it is way too confusing for Mr Joe Public to get their heads around thats for sure.

The main point I believe people are missing is that Listawood aren't marketing their coating to the printers in the world, it's the promo companies that buy printed product and need a bit of assurance that the mugs don't fade. Promo companies trust Listawoods coating and have that as a bench mark and try to convince that target market that their mug will be better than a competitor such as Keramikos (Millenium). Rebranding it just always made it safe for them to claim it's their own rather than using a name they have no control over and that other suppliers can freely use. All the mind games are just trying to manipulate their larger audience.

A few years back I went round the Listawood Factory and saw their coating plant. Its done on the premises so I assume they either buy in the coating or formulate it themselves. I guess Beckie should step in and clarify the claims.
