It looks good once done Paul, it just doesn't feel so good, it's like paper when pressed
I've just done a load of tshirts and hoodies last week for a childs 6th birthday party, never again, my eyes were crossing trying to find a starting point, lol

The Xpres Easy Cut glitters are good to weed as the colour is facing inwards, not on a sticky carrier eitherKaz;19778 wrote:Try and avoid the sparkle vinyl/flex, it's a total nightmare to weed

justin/paul, this is a good informative thread, can it be stickied to the top of this section please, so people can add their comments on.
I mostly buy from The Magic Touch, and buy in rolls at a time, although for the fashion flex's i buy 5m at a time from either TMT or Xpress

Re: Vinyl Suppliers List
Anyone close to Wolverhampton in the Midlands theres a shop in the Mander Center called 'Funky Dory' who sells his vinyl in the shop any size you want. Works out around £5.50 a meter but obviously no postage if you collect and also no restricitions to how much you buy so if you just need a small slice of say Gold or Silver Vinyl he will sell you how much you need (less waste)

I always get mine from MDP
i use clothing vinyl, and car vinyl off them.
They also have handy pdf files to download for temps and times.
Never had a wrong order in 2 years and gives great helpful advice if your not sure of anything.

Re: Vinyl Suppliers List
I've been trying a range of suppliers, usually use MDP and must say there tech help over the phone is second to none. I have a cameo and just ordered loads of sparkly silver from them. After what seemed hours and lots of ripped up paper because my cameo just wouldn't cut through the silver sparkle. I changed the blade setting and even set it to about number 8 but it just wouldn't cut. I rang MDP who told me to put it back to no2 and change the thickness settings . I did this and it was fine.
Just bought some flex from BMS and will be putting that on some tshirts today.
