WF7015 problem
Re: WF7015 problem
Hello everyone, I've some issues with this printer. First of all : on prinintings appears some small white dots on the printed area, meanwhile on non-printed area (wich it means the "white area") instead appears some black/dark dots.
I've noticed that those dots match with the position of the wheels used by the printer to pull/drag the paper. in addition This kind of issue happen only with thick sheets of paper, while there is no problem with normal paper (maybe because the ink dries faster ? )
The second issue is that the printings have nuances of magenta, for this kind of problem I've got in touch with Paul.
Do you have any suggestion ?
I'm kinda losing time, money and patient with this printer.

Re: WF7015 problem
Ink on the rollers? Maybe try cleaning them with cotton sticks dipped in IPA (not the beer).
Re: WF7015 problem
IPA ...Isopropyl alcohol ? i use it for cleaning wiper blades and doctor blades on toner cartridges.
I will try to change paper settings, too.

Re: WF7015 problem
What paper are you using ? i had this problem with rotec paper basically the ink doesnt dry quick enough and the rollers create the pin holes you describe as the pick the ink up . try differnt paper trupix is pretty good
Re: WF7015 problem
Sounds like a problem with the ink not drying causing it to be picked up on the pincer rollers. The paper is fine if it's the standard texprint paper (not high release), but perhaps a problem with the inks or print speed?COMA;70810 wrote:I'm using TEXPRINT paper for A4 and a no-branded paper for A3, ?????? inks
Re: WF7015 problem
I've tried to print with these settings : common paper + best quality print + mirrored printing (??). This seems to resolve the problem of the black dots on white areas and white dots on dark areas but the difference within the quality is quite visible.
The sheets i'm using are not wet for sure otherwise I would have had the same problem in each case, right?

Re: WF7015 problem
If its texprint hr then do not use matt paper settings. Try normal paper settings and quality. Not best quality as this will put largerink deposits.
I had it with my b1100.
