Re: Heat transfer paper on iphone cover

Post by Gkhnn »

Hi
Hope to get some help on this. I`ve bought heat transfer paper, and fully white phone cover. I printet a pic on the heat transfer paper. I took the alu plate from phone cover, put the picture on it, and tried to heat up using regular home iron. but its doesnt not work good, the pic can not be fully transfered to the cover, only 5 % the color can be transfered.

I can not use iron for it? Do i really need a heat transfer machine to do that?

Paper

no sorry , i have only tried on iphone cover, its seems that a bit of color gets transfered to the cover, but not much though and not clear :)

i havent tried with thisrt at all. So the its might be the ink which is not suitable with covers and tshirt

If your printer is suitable for sublimation ink (sorry dont know if yours is but someone on here will) you may be able to find a profile on the sawgrass website but you will need to use sawgrass inks. Failing that paul on this forum will make a profile for a small and very reasonable fee. If none of this makes sense then id suggest making a cuppa pulling up a chair and read through this forum you will find all the answers here if you take the time to look

The paper in the link is sublimation paper.. but if you didn't realise there was sublimation ink, I would assume you are using regular ink on sublimation paper..

I agree with getting a cuppa and taking a long read through the forum.. and then asking the questions you require once you have done that :)
