Hi
I have a number of pink leather passport covers which I want to put vinyl on the back of. Can anyone recommend a vinyl which will work with leather please. Also, I have bought some gym bags but I don't honestly know if they are nylon or polyester, what vinyl would you recommend and is there a way of telling if they are polyester or nylon?
Thanks

I print the Bagbase gym bags with regular garment vinyl.

Which vinyl do you use paul? Xpres? And what is it ideal, for?
I shall the easy flex and the nylon flex from xpres shortly on them, how do they wash?

Re: What vinyl would you suggest
I just printed the bags this evening and they have just come out of the washing machine! So here are the results.
I washed them at on 30" (which was for 1 hour) (30" is the recommended wash for Xpres Nylo Flex's)
Shugon Gym Bags - Nylo Flex (this has stayed on fairly well and has been stuck in great, cant even feel it when you put your hand across it) Easy Flex & Multi Flex both peeled straight away.
Bagbase Gym Bags - Easy Flex has come out TOPS for this! (Normal garment flex) all stayed on and seems great currently)
Multi Flex is still on, but i can pick at it pretty easy, although the bag is still abit wet, probably why. The Nylo Flex has peeled big time, although isn't 100% fully off it.
It's not the vinyls, As they have been great on many products, I guess it's just what vinyls the bags will take
Thanks for all your help Paul, You seemed to have been correct

I use MDP Hotflex which I press at 150 C. I have never washed a bag. Those bags are not expensive, so it doesn't break the bank to experiment with one. The bags are polyester, they take the heat of a press.

Good Morning,
When it comes to leather it is always a difficult one as you do not want to apply too much heat to a delicate material, I would only advise trying some of our multi flex, this may work, it may not but we do not have anything else recommended for leather here anyway.
If your bags are nylon I would recommend nyloflex but as you are not sure on this front I would again recommend multi flex as this is our multi purpose, all round vinyl that adheres to a range of fabrics. If you need any further information on vinyls please give us a call!
Thanks for your time and have a nice day.
