Hi
I have been having similar problems with my cases not coming out perfect, they look great from a few feet away but when you look closely there is like a water residue look to them. again most noticeable with the dark colours. I keep a folder with old prints in ready to press which still come out fine so it cant be the cases. I have changed paper so it could be that. my feeling is that its the printer most likely a setting that i have changed somewhere. just wondering if anyone has found any solutions recently?

Hi Bendee,
After looking more and more at them I honestly think it the paper texture that cases the look.

Re: water residue look on phone cases
it seems to me that its not even across the covers though... it seems to be more pronounced towards the edge of the cover. Has anyone else found this?

Almost certainly paper fibre sticking - unfortunately, when using paper it seems to be unavoidable. Using film would result in a smooth gloss, but unfortunately the 'multifunction' type vacuum presses aren't really suitable for using these films (especially not with the type of image you're trying to print there).
