Hi All,

I am hoping to expand my already established business and am wanting to start doing dye sublimation on mobile phone case and other items..

I have scoured the internet and not knowing alot have come across this http://shop.photomart.co.uk/3d-sublimat ... undle.html

Could anyone tell me if this is worth buyng or could they recommend a better set up??

Many Thanks..

Couldn't speak for the software but that's what I use too.

But Just looking closely at the machine there are some subtle differences. I believe the ST3042 model (the one I have and many of us on here) is standard and although it's a fairly cheap machine anyway just make sure that's not some (even cheaper) copy.

Good Luck with your expansion!

Would anyone have any recommendations on where I can look for a good package i.e. printer, 3D press, etc?...

If you attend one of the upcoming tradeshows they always have specials on.

Or BMS - http://www.printerowners.co.uk/hardware ... achine.htm
http://www.printerowners.co.uk/sublimat ... rinter.htm

Then get photoshop CC at £9 p/m

Also - I think if you become premium member here on DSF you get 10% discount (don't quote me on that though)

Thanks Ucase.. I have literally just got off the phone with them. Very helpful and some useful knowledge too..

I am thinking of starting smaller and going for the 3d mini vacuum and see how it goes from there and if im busy enough them invest in a larger machine.

Where would I look for the upcoming trade shows?..

Sorry- Just going through my emails it looks like the main ones were in January:

As well as the big national that just took place, Trade-Only have spring shows starting in April..

Check the exhibitor list but when I went in 2014 there were stalls from Nova-Chrome, Deconetwork, Mega-UK, and a few other sublimation companies.

For future Ref' other than FESPA, have a chat with someone like Nova-chrome or one of the other suppliers above that regularly attend - They'll be able to tell you what's coming up. Unless somebody else here has a list already???

Coreldraw - Yes you can use this, it's down to personal preference. I know lots of people here use it. I prefer Photoshop simply because it's what I learned and (right or wrong) I see it as industry standard.

For Photoshop you can purchase up to (I think) CS6 but Adobe now use monthly payments, which I actually prefer rather than paying hundreds of pounds for software.

Again - All personal choice really.

Don't forget to let us know what set-up you go with and how you get on :)
