Thanks deano, unfortunately it's the 38 x 38 which is too small for me. I'm looking at the 38 x 50. Appreciate the heads up though

Well, took the plunge today!
Went with The Magic Touch in the end who were decent enough to deal with.
Here's what I got..
1 x Beta Maxi (38cm x 50cm) Adkins Heat Press
(Includes 2 x PTFE Sheets)
1 x SG400 Sublimation Printer
(Includes set of Inks and 200 sheets A4 Sublimation Paper)
1 x Roll Heat Tape
1 x Pack 50 Square Sublimation Coasters
1 x Delivery to Belfast
Cost was £1500 all in which I'm happy with.
Of course the real fun starts when it's delivered at the end of the week!

Magic Touch are a fantastic company to deal with, their tech support is awesome, just a phone call away for advice on any unfamiliar fabric, or technical issue.
I recommend visiting and spending time in their training room, free to customers !

I started with a cheap Ebay but I hated it every time I put the plate down it played we wish you a merry christmas out of tune I couldn't wait to get a better one but it started me off and helped me save for a better one. I then purchased an Adkins from Xpres.
http://www.xpres.co.uk/p-7924-swing-hea ... -x-15.aspx I love it and have got a few of the the extra plates which I find really handy at times you can use the large base plate but some of the smaller ones make life easier.
I would say Adkins all day long but if you're like me and can't afford it get a cheaper one (not a singing one) then save up and buy a better quality it gives an even heat source all over rather than just a strip up the middle like the cheap ones and overall just a better quality press and I don't
ever worry about it getting to hot in places and not warm enough in others

Press and printer have arrived. Impressed with the build quality of the Adkins.

Bet that was a heavy delivery! Hope you managed to lift it in! We use same press, it's a very sturdy piece of equipment with an even heat spread. The only gripes are I suppose that the clearance between plates could be greater and you can't easily slide garments like hoodies over the plate so you sometimes need something placed inside them and the teflon pillows are a little thick to use (unless someone knows otherwise)
