hmm, thats interesting then, if your inks are turning brown after only 2 washes, perhaps a faulty batch of inks then, or else faulty coatings.
the new craze for "mug cakes" where you cook a cake in a mug in a microwave might also be an issue for people as the ingredients tend to oooze out whilst cooking, and they are very hot and sugary.

This may sound a bit of a weird offer but have you got another mug that you could send to me and I can put it through my dishwasher for a totally independent test.
If not have you printed a brand new mug with the same design and tried that one.
