got other 200 coasters in from scotty/bms today..cheers m8 ;).....helps with fridays orders to go our monday, without being late on amazon ....

the question here is....do i risk opening the amazon/ebay stores again, and take in 100's orders over the weekend, in the "hope" that the parcel farce actually delivery the larger coaster order on monday 100%

like i said, they done this to me with alex sublimation inks order few weeks back...and the dam thing didnt arrive till late Tuesday
yeh i should have ordered in nov to be fair, but that dont excuse the shitty service that we call royal mail and parcel farce at this time of yr...

they ARE buckling with the demand, and my main concern is - as people are moving more n more away from the high st, and even the ind est's for there shopping/buying, and buying more online, the royal mail/parcel farce problems are only gonna get worse, yr on yr....only a fool cant see that happening surely ?.

the uk is gonna have a major problem with mail in the very, very near future, and they will HAVE TO address ( no pun intended honest ) the problem one way or another

is there anyway of putting a disclaimer on the items on the shop, that there may be a small delay in the items arriving? I dont sell on amazon so no idea, but I would open it back up, you can always close it again if you think you have too many.

you can, but that would damage sales, as punters would see that and bugger off !
have opened again, and set shipping time delay to 2/3 days..so should be covered in case bugger all arrives monday coming ;)

You'll be hard pushed to get anything off Parcelforce on Monday as they have a huge backlog out of Cambuslang - make sure to call the depot 8am and make sure your gear gets taken out the cages and picked or else chances are you'll be waiting another day or two.

I nipped into the office for a few hours this afternoon and managed to fall out with ParcelFarce (Yes I also call them that)

Live Chat drives me up the wall. They do nothing whatsoever to help you and then copy and paste "Anything else I can help you with today". to which I always reply you haven't helped me yet!

Ignore the last update on your tracker - should be in Cambuslang by tonight / tomorrow morning as they have trailers leaving preston more or less every couple of hours. Call the depot 8am 0344 209 6186

Try looking up ANY delivery firm on TrustPilot! They're all very negative, but the truth of the matter is that it's mostly the people who have a complaint who are the most vocal. For indtance, I've had loads of successful deliveries by PF and others over the years, but have never submitted a positive review on any site.

Just my little input. 'At this time of year' really should not matter but I accept things are considerably busier for the delivery companies. However if you pay for next day delivery then that is what you should get. If your customers pay you for mugs and get something else because for you 'it's that time of year' you would expect them to be pi55ed off. So I can not see why parcel/courier companies should be any different. If it is the case that 'this time of year' means they can not meet their obligations vis a vis the service customers have paid for then they should say so otherwise I reckon it is tantamount to fraud.

Input over :-)
