I've no problem with paying duty and keeping things legal, but if there was a way to avoid company administration fees I'd be interested to know. But my question has been answered.

I wasn't suggesting you were doing anything illegal.

I just think its simper, less stressful and potentially cheaper in the long run to pay duties etc. Its just a cost of doing business, I realised a while ago that I have a partner...called the government. If I pay them their share they will let me grow as much as I can manage. And I can buy things with the money I have earned too.

Part of what they charge is an amount for loaning you the amount they pay the customs - so technically if your account was in credit they could not charge you that amount - as they would not be loaning you the money to pay.
