The BMS child mug used to be listed as 6oz not 7oz

It must be magic!

Of course! Doh! I hadn't considered magic!

My BMS Espresso mugs are 6oz.

According to my 12 year old maths whizz...it's an error in our maths and measurements!
We're supposed to measure the inside of the mug so the dims are: 6.5cm diameter x 6.5cm height
The maths to work out the volume is:
pi × radius squared x height = centimetres cubed
So 3.14 x 3.25 squared x 6.5 = 215.68997062302 centimeters cubed.
So that's why I'm getting 200ml (about 7oz) in my mug!
Personally...I prefer the magic theory

I stand corrected! I made a really stupid mistake by saying the volume was pi x dia x height. First time I've done that, but probably not the last, now that I've hit retirement age!
