I don't have a Ricoh so I was wondering how the PowerDriver works.
Reading the Sawgrass installation instructions suggests that it's just a custom printer driver. The requirement to have colour management turned off in the software further suggests that it's using the ICC profiles through this custom printer driver - something Epson printers could do themselves up to and including the 1400.
Is that all it is? If so then the question of ICC vs PowerDriver is a moot one because they're both profile-driven - the "PowerDriver" just saves you having to chew the gristly bits.

Been using Powerdriver on the last 5 prints and the colours are definatly better for me, makes me think i may have set something up wrong before lol, my last setup wasnt too bad but the powerdriver is what i'm going to be sticking with
