An old friend said he doesn't use Facebook just the other week when I told him of a FB Group that would probably be of interest to him. He said the main reason he doesn't use FB is because he gets out often. I had to laugh knowing he had sent the email to me via his iphone which I think he sleeps with.
I hate mobile phones as I think they can be the most anti social device ever invented. Reason being is how many times have you been having a conversation with someone when all of a sudden they start to ignore what your saying so they can text someone back. Also I think it's funny when your walking behind someone who is texting & walking at the same time. It looks like they are getting instructions on which direction they should take, a bit like a hand held GPS. I'm also against mobiles because of the near miss car accidents I've had whilst the other driver was on the phone. If I had my way anyone caught using a mobile whilst driving would get a 12 month ban plus £500 fine.
