if its very small, use nail varnish remover, i keep some of it with some q tips, but as others have said you will get a slight shadow re press after and then you will be able to apply something over the top, unless you design something a little bigger to go straight over the top of the other one

Quicker than plucking I'd say ;-) Xpres sell cans of transfer remover as well. I used to spray both sides and many vinyls (not all) will shrivvle up. Sometimes a bit of a ghosting effect left from the glue but you can often hide that. Right, off to de-hair my nostrils now.

I've used the stuff from xpres before and used properly can give good results, as Justin says spray both sides but I've had success by placing some fabric(same colour as garment or white) under the transfer to be removed inside first then giving it a spray top side(be careful here as too much will leave a stain) just a little at a time. If there's a residue you can spray again and just work it out as much as possible. Drying by just leaving the garment on your press platen so that the heat dries it up naturally without pressing the garment..

just tried xpress vinyl remover. Very good effect. firstly remove vinyl like instructed on the can then spray again from the top and give a good clean with clean cloth to wipe out glue stains.
DO NOT DRY in heat press as it's extremely flammable !!!

ETC embroidery does a 'Badge remover' that works perfect for some vinyl, and leaves a residue for others.
You need to shake the can hard for a couple of minutes for best results.
