I know is adobe now and you can download it from their web site its just last time when i looked in to it it was called macromedia

As JSR mentioned, flash banners (swf files) can be a real, although as an alternative, 'animated gif' files are alot more compatible across the board.

Adobe Flash is probably your best bet for Mac but anything outside of basic banners, you will need to partition another section of your brain to cope with the complexity of using it. Action Script anyone??!!!!@@

i think i'll look into the animated side then
