xpress sample pack - review

yeh im not complaining dont get me wrong - its free and thats what counts - just lost oppuntity as for someone like me who is new to this,i dont know what is out there.So what else am i missing that i may be interester in

thats my point ....................

With the greatest respect most of us have had to pay to try various products when we first started out. When I first bought from Xpres they sent me a sample blank mug & that was all I got & at the time. I thought it was a nice gesture as no other supplier did this for me at the time. Xpres do a large blank sample pack which is aimed at new starters in the business & that costs £90 I think. So, if you think about it they are not going to be sending loads of blanks out for free whilst they have sample packs of blanks to sell.

You just have to check ebay out ro know there's probably thousands of newbies every week, all asking for samples It has to be one of the cheapest to get in to "get rich quick businesses out there"

forgot to mention on friday i was out and a card was put though door
i wasnt expecting a parcel but yet i had a card to pick one up.Went sort office on saturday and got another parcel from xpress with the same contents as above - except in this box was a mousemat with a piece of silky paper with leopard design on (think i heat this on mousemat dont i) - i got another cup and another plastic square keyring

So i got to boxes in all

Hows that for service - will let u know if i get another this week

its about a4 size

so ifs it heat vinyl does that mean i can cut out with it on me cutter then
its really thing though

Yeah - 99% sure that's a piece of garment vinyl - I got some in a sample pack also but knew what it was as I'd used it before from MDP.

I agree that you are lucky to get any samples.
The postage on a mug will be much more than the cost of the mug!
Only the really big suppliers can afford to attend the trade shows, - Trade Only this week, and Print and promotionwear in february.
These are the best places to touch and feel.
The alternative is recommendation from sites like this one.
As a newbie with a press that is out of the box you will definitely create waste mugs, and it would be unfair to blame that on the supplier when you have not got your production method perfect. As mentioned above, these must be dozens of startups a week, and most will never get beyond a hundred mugs in the life of their 'business'
I cannot blame any supplier for not sending you samples.
On the other hand, if you make an appointment to go and visit their HQ you should get a great feel for the business, and a few samples to take away too.
How serious are you about this?
