Sorry folks, have to resurrect this thread as I'm having problems too:/

Set up printer. Stick in the CD ready to install the drivers and I get this message:
"current os does not support this program"
Hmph!
Am using Win7 64bit

So went to Ricoh site and downloaded the drivers there. Installed fine. But now I'm getting an error saying it can't detect a printer port.

I've been uninstalling and starting over with both USB and a network cable for close to 4 hours now and I've had just about enough. Please, does anyone have any ideas?

Not sure how that would work as then there's no hope at all of the printer being detected is there? :-)
But I tried. All unplugged. Installed driver. Connect and turn on when prompted and getting the same problem as before:/

I believe Windows 7 auto installs the drivers when a USB lead is connected. We have Win 7 64 and 32 bit both with the GXe3300 connected. If you have downloaded and run the drivers direct from Ricoh then I'd go into Control Panel and remove all instances of the Ricoh that may be installed now. Do a clean reboot and then plug in the USB cable and let Win 7 auto find and install the drivers.

Tried to remove all instances of Ricoh, but there's one "unspecified GX e3300N" category Unknown still under devices which has no remove option.

Click on it and press delete?

No option to delete. HOWEVER. After rebooting as per your advice Matin, I clicked on it and suddenly had the option to install drivers. Did that, and it allowed me to print! Awesome! Thank you for your patience!
Now to go get Powerdrivers.... wish me luck!

Great! You haven't replied to my earlier question, but as you've printed then I hope it isn't important now, but... you have installed the SubliJet-R cartridges haven't you and not the genuine inks that might have come in the Ricoh box? I only ask as you mentioned you bought the printer somewhere else (not from us I believe)...

Lol Martin, Even I wouldn't make that mistake:) Bought the printer from Mega. Only SubliJet-R inks included (free tape and TextPrint-R paper too). I did buy my mugs and a few other bits from you though - thanks for the quick delivery - just spreading the love and comparing services at the moment.
