. it always amazes me that people who can be "so in love" and for a lot of years, can just throw everything away, when perhaps what the person needed was a lifeline.
...............................................................................

she is very well....this has happened before, and i said...everyone deserves a seconds chance....and she done the same thing again 4 yr later...as in over the last wk....
she has a gambling addiction which i dismissed, but to my own pearl :-(

and just to state - i have nothing against other woman...they are not all tarred with the same stick...just that i personally, will never be able to trust another woman in my lifetime....and that hurts me more than anything....
but i,m big enough ( excuse the pun) to take it on the chin and move on.....again !

this is a great little forum with sensible adults, who can hold an adult conversation when need be.....

johnny
ps...and i never said we were so in love....we ended up more like best friends, for some strange reason.....maybe it had run its course :-(

well at least it all makes more sense now, she has an addiction. hopefully she will get herself sorted, and you will be able to move on. Try direct debits in future - cheaper & better than trust sometimes lol

Good luck, and i am sure you will meet someone new, i kissed a few frogs (and was married to one for 14yrs) before my prince finally came along, when i thought i would never meet someone.

I know just what you mean Johnny as I had a girlfriend a long time ago who had a drug problem & took me for a few thousand. I had no idea she was a serious drug addict until I saw here buying her drugs on a back street that I just happend to be driving past one night. Myself, her family & friends all tried to get her to get help but, she just wasn't interested at all. It broke my heart to have to tell her goodbye but, it was the best thing to do otherwise she would have taken everything I had. There are times when you have to use your head rather than your heart. Good luck mate & hope everything works out for you soon.
