Welcome to the forum

As you can probably guess, the question of "which printer?" comes up almost every time someone joins the forum. You may want to read this post: http://www.dyesubforum.co.uk/vbforum/sh ... ch-Printer to get a basic understanding of which printers to go looking for, and why.

Asking the question generically will result in two different responses - a supplier will want to sell you the current "flavour of the month" supported option, while users will argue over which printer works for them, which blocks for them, with other users contradicting their experiences.

It can often feel like a bit of a minefield, so it's best to have an understanding of which printers to look for before taking the first piece of advice or suggestion you get. You can always be sure of one thing - one person's perfect printer is another person's nightmare printer. There are no guarantees.

No doubt, it must be the Ricoh. Went through 2 Epson 1400's when i started as if you are not doing loads they just block up. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

The Ricoh is easier, cleaner (they use cartridges, rather than an external bulk feed set up) and a thousand times more reliable!

......In my opinion!

I was advised on Ricoh when I first started, and I am glad I took the advice. Just put in the first 2 replacement cartridges and no problems so far. These new cartridges will of course last at lot longer than the first as the lines are already full, although the first cartridges have lasted a long time and I still have about 50% left on black and 40+% on cyan.

Jack.

So well chuffed. Speak soon in the relevant sections.
