Unless the scripts have been heavily customised, and/or a lot of plugins uses it should be fairly WYSIWYG

This is what I thought. There's a Contact Us tab on the left, I was just going to add another tab. I thought the tabs would be controlled within a plug in but nothing is installed for this :-( Looked at the menu feature but other than the tab I don't think the menu is fuctioning. It's ripe for a re-make but I just need to get a few bits and bobs changed at this stage.

If you want to PM me with address and log in/password, I can have a quick look. Understand if you don't want to/can't give me those details though.
Our site is in WP, and just using the twenty-eleven theme, which was the first one that came up, and served our needs quite nicely, so didn't bother looking at the others, but the menu in that works well enough for us.

i had a quick play with wordpress and hated it lol
i much prefer to code a site directly as you can do everything, but....... it's alot harder for the client to edit though

Finally found five minutes to look at this friends site again. Original problem solved by changing the theme to twenty eleven. I now need to display 3 or 4 pictures in a rotating banner kind of thing (technical eh?!) They had it working on the last theme but I can't see the widget (?) on the current them....anyone able to help please?

Slideshow theme would be required,. There are photo blogs that do this sort of thing.

Upgrade to latest worspress, uninstall all redundant widgets and plugins. Would be best to start fresh if the site is a mess. Plugins can clash and cause problems.
