Well i would have said blanket but when i put a mug in from BMS the results are perfect which tells me the blanket is fine.

Paul i have also tried that as well whilst i was going through the first box and still same place..

If i get 2 mugs and put them together they do taper of slightly in that area.

I think Paul was right when he mentioned silicone sheet which i am going to order. Just need to make sure that i am looking at the right thing.
Posted a link in post before. Also what times and temp do i adjust..

Gonna have to get myself a replacement blanket as well to make sure i dont get caught out again as printer going bang has set me back big time..

Well I always use 185C and wait till the press reaches 185 before giving it 180 secs. So I think that compensates for the sheet. However trial and error may be necessary.

Sound paul will up the temp as i used your other settings of 185 for 220 so just have to up temp and leave time alone.

God i love this forum. If it was not for this forum i would be sat in a heap of mugs right now that were all messed up. Pmsl

Paul uses a Brother printer and my settings were for my Ricoh - if I was using my Brother I would have to agree that Paul's temps are likely to be better suited.

Dean, you can get a silicon sheet from your local Morrison's supermarket. They have them in the section that have the cake tins etc.
