Just yesterday I watched a little old lady park her car in Tescos. I say park, she went onto the pavement and wedged it between a lampost and the car parked on the end of the line :-( I think she was wondering why she couldn't get out!

We always make a point of parking as far away from the entrance as possible - you know the spaces no-one wants to use. Why then do you end up with someone right next to you when that section of the car park has umpteen empty spaces. We go to the supermarket in our £100 daily runner, leaving the better cars safe at home.

Dont know for sure but isnt it knock for knock on a car park,so you can only claim off your own insurance.

A fair few years ago now, my wife had her seriera written off in a coop car park, by one of their own shopping trolly collector with his motorised trolly pusher. All the coops said was didn't think that they were that strong to do that damage to both doors and front wing.

They didnt pay up either as the sign all vehicles parked at owners risk was pointed out.

Needles to say I have used the coop again to this day and never will............

The same thing happened with my wifes car at Tesco's about 2 years ago accept the trolley attendant only smashed the back light. Tesco's paid for the light to be replaced and gave us a voucher for the store.
The vehicles parked at owners risk didn't count as it was their employee who caused the damage.
