The only reason I went elsewhere was because my current (fantastic product and never had an issue) supplier - was out of stock

I have emailed and asked what they are going to do about it as in my opinion it is totally unacceptable - first or second time round.

I did message someone who uses these mugs and has usually no problem.. so was a little hesitant to mention the company..

I would send them back, ask for a refund and look elsewhere. I know the supplier you are referring to and as you mention I have never had a problem. Now that could be that I got lucky, or am simply not as "fussy" as you , however the fact is that the mugs are not to the standard you expect. As it is the second set they have sent out then I would be concerned that they are unable to meet your requirements.

I do have a couple of boxes left here that are about to be printed. I am going to go through everyone to see if there are any defects and will report back if I find anything

Have you tried Raja?, superb mugs just not sure what is the minimum order quantity is with them.

I haven't tried anyone other than these guys and BMS and to be honest will most likely staying with them lol

Raja's minimum order is a full box - 36.
Their own courier box or pallet delivery pricing is not cheap though, but they are happy to have the stock ready for your own courier to collect.

It has been sorted and seems there is a coating issue.. They will be refunding the original 54 unsuitable mugs.

But we still don't know the company involved? At least they're putting it right for you but I echo comments alredy made, you've paid for 36 mugs, 36 mugs should be usable.

BTW, Raja are out of stock at the moment until Feb.

Good job we stocked up from them before Christmas then ... based on last years numbers, we bought about 6 months worth for our needs.
