With all the flushes and head cleans I've done I'm now out of black so will need to buy some, might just buy a full set as the others are low also, hopefully that's the problem.
I doubt the problem will resolve itself with a new set of cartridges as this won't make any difference for some time as the old inks is still in the tubes. Do you have SubliJetR inks in the printer and are they in date? If so then call Sawgrass on Monday and they wil be able to help fault find the problem.

Printed logo out on epson, came out fine, the Ricoh is now not doing anything as the black is completely out, earlier I did a few head cleans and it started to come out ok, but that was only one print, it went back to banding after this one, I will order a black cartridge and wait till it arrives before I do anything else,
ps what's the difference between sublijet and visi-sub. ? I'm guessing they can't be mixed?

No difference between VisiSub and SubliJetR. Same inks, different box.

hi dave, i know its been a while but did you ever get this sorted and if so what was the solution?
i've got a bit of a problem that has started with banding on a printout; not quite as noticeable as yours but it has been transferring to products!
have tried all the aligning, etc, so kind of stuck for now. waiting to hear back from the sawgrass guys but was just wondering if anybody else had any ideas in the meantime!

What cutter you not using? I'm looking for a larger version to possibly upgrade and just have my cameo for smaller jobs and as a backup.

oh dear, i'm sorry to hear that. i can imagine the feeling of not wanting to buy more inks in case the problem isn't solved. hoping i'll get mine sorted soon, as I've a few jobs need doing, and this is slowing them down.

well sawgrass' solution was to buy a new printer, as apparently this is a common problem printing block colours on a Ricoh. they've recommended I go for a new Epson printer.
