The ones i buy are £1.20 to post LL as they weigh 128g (same dimension as seller) plain A4 envelope
Yes but yours are specifically made for sublimation - these are just cheap fabric mats and i doubt they weigh 128g

Nowhere near 128g

The rubber on a standard MM is much lighter than that of a sublimation mat due to the fact that it does not require heating to 180 degrees.

Its £1.20 postage John and the envelopes are 20p. I know they are plain. But my point is I cant even post fresh air for £1.23. Pick up from the house , no postage, no profit would be the £1.23 these are charging. Its not alone either. I used to be a driving Instructor for the last 30 years and I tell you I charged more then than they do now. Is it happening again? I sold some mugs @ £2.50 as a favour, making what? 50p or so and I have heard it was felt expensive cos you can get them from the pound shop. I would like to find the pound shop I can go and get a picture of my grandkids on or my own business. Bottom line is this business is going the way of the driving industry, Saturated and undervalued.

The postage is not £1.20 and envelopes are not 20p though Tony. I also think you are trying to compare apples and oranges with your product against this sellers one.

But the underlying question of saturation and undervalued, I would say yes it is in the personalization market.

But these same problems have benefited you I suspect. Vistaprint slashed prices on business cards, whether you use them or not they have made it cheaper to get them printed. The same way that Tesco's, Sainsburys et al are all fighting for your business so are subsequently cutting their prices.

Tony, you not comparing like for like - its a plain mousemat, not a sublimation one - but I understand how you feel about this.
How do you know he is posting them out at £1.20 and how do you know that the envelope he's using is 20p?

My mousemat at work is lighter than 100g, it fits in an A4 envelope, which costs approx 1.5p and would post for 90p large letter.

I have just weighed a mosemat. it is 105 grammes. This is a 235mm x 195 x 5mm.
It will not fit into anything smaller than a large letter.
Royal mail charge £1.20 to post this.I tried parcel2go to compare and we are into the £3 range now.
My local poundshop or Asda charge a pound for 5 A4 envelopes.
I cannot for the life of me see how I can post a mat for under £1.45.
Please Social Giraffe educate me as to why postage is not £1.20 and the envelope is not 20p, cos I have over 100 I will hopefully need to send and this is the best i can see. I really dont get the apples and oranges comment. Is second class a lot cheaper. is that what you mean? I have a RM account and this is what I have been quoted. I have looked at RM and couriers and i assure you a large letter, which this falls into is £1.20 and that is under 100g which this is not. So it could possibly be more?
