All very interesting, personally I'd think twice before using MDP as my only experience (within the last few months) from far from good, service was pretty poor.

I guess we could list good and bad companies and we'll all have different experiences.

Very, very true Justin. I use regular suppliers and have stayed with them but I have avoided one certain supplier (through choice) due some bad customer service I had many months ago. This may have been an isolated incident but I still choose not to use them.

I have used MDP for most (if not all) of my vinyl/flex requirements and there have been a couple of mishaps along the way but they were always dealt with when I explained the problem so I accepted this as we're all affected by the 'human error'.

I don't make a lot of mistakes in the shop (hardly any to be honest) but 'I have' made some, and I put my hands up and explained this to my customer(s) - all of which have come back to me as they respected my honesty and I resolved the mistake with a discount, refund or something else.

It does very much annoy me though when as a customer I am treated in a way that I would not treat my own customers ........... that, to me, is inexcusable :(

This also proves what may be a bad supplier for one or two could be a great one for thousand others, MDP I believe to be one of the best companies I've dealt with, also BMS.

never got on well with MDP or Xpress felt a bit like a number - far more so with xpress who i simply dont deal with anymore, so i stick with Magic Touch - who i have only ever had an issue with once, which turned out to be a new member of staff, and Dorotape, who are fairly local to me, and BMS for my mugs these companies have excellent technical people who are always on hand to help out with any problem that might arise, as well as giving some great ideas.
