Re: 9 pin Cables for a Refine?
with regards to these 9 pin cables, i know for other computer uses, there are a couple of different wiring standards, so possibly your cable is the wrong wiring for your cutter? there are null modem, straight through, and maybe others i'm not aware of.
so if you get arko's cable again, and if there are removable connectors, it might be worth a quick look at the internal wiring of the cables to see if they are different.

Thats the problem though spongerobinson, my cables are sealed units.

You will probs need a 'null modem cable'
This is what is typically used for this type of application

Hi ian.
Just loaded coral draw and signblazer on to pc. So going to have a play. Is it possible to borrow cables today sometime.
Now where is the idiots guide to coral draw and signblazer. Do they work with each other or am I going down the wrong route?

No problem Dave. Just ring the house number to see if anyone is in. I have told her where the cables are.

Not sure if it makes any difference Dave. But if you hurry, you can still catch the missus at home before she comes to visit me in hospital. The cables are hanging over the back of the cutter. under the cover.
