I was sitting in Temple Bar one evening drinking the Black Stuff - I had given up smoking a few years previous.. I noticed some tins of Snuff on the wall behind the bar so I bought one.
These were the days when smoking inside had just been banned in the UK - in Temple Bar they have areas in some bars that have 'Outside Rooms' inside - kind of trying to get around the rules.

Anyway, I was quite taken with this Snuff - I came back and worked out a deal with McChrystals (the people who make that particular snuff) so I could buy wholesale - I then went on to run uksnuff.com.. it went quite well although the margins were low.

This got too much after a while and I stopped it - I hadnt seen Snuff for years until earlier this year.. I was down a mine and a miner produced a small tin of the stuff - he was more than surprised when I took some after he offered it to me ! he said he takes it himself but offers it to people as a joke and nobody else had ever taken any with him.

I went onto tell him my Snuff Story, we got on well after that
