Can't work out for the life of me how the jig stays in place!

Will try and get some pics/vids as soon as the PC is back up to speed.

something about the rubber nobs, maybe the jigs aren't quite right for the machine? but saying that do they have to be stuck in there? I thought the jigs were just to make sure the cases keep their shape during heating.

OK, quick update. The jigs don't stay fixed in place which is making foil printing very difficult. I'm working on a fix for this now, the supplier hasn't been much use with this I'm afraid. I've never printed using foil so I guess there's a learning curve. The foil has to be cut exactly for alignment and placement, will take practice

I've given up trying to print a case for tonight, the jig simply won't stay in place until I've sorted something.

Still confident of a good result printing phone cases but more time required.

I tried printing a mug using a mould. The mould is for 11oz mugs so I got a couple of 'vein' marks down the print where the mould gathered up a little. Hopefully they'll come with a slightly smaller mould for 10oz but I'm not sure.
I didn't leave the mug in long enough to show you a decent photo but it did print right up to the handle which was good.

Note to members who have emailed about buying these machines from me. If you are happy to go through the learning curve I will sell them, otherwise you'd be better to wait until I've had more time to run tests. These aren't just switch on and print machines, you'll need to have a bit of patience initially and work out the best way to do things

the failure to print to the handle is one of my main issues with my mug press and will probably be the reason for me jumping in with one of these

Would 4 mugs in those molds still fit assuming you could rig something up so all 4 as connected to the vacuum pipe.

No, the mould has a solid lid so only one will fit. Very small tray that these fit into.

Supplier has recognised (or rather been told!) that jigs need to stay in place so they are re-designing these. i think I have a quicker solution so fingers crossed can move forward with a phone case film print.
