To Paul-the-ICC-guru

I received your ICC doughnut, stuffed it in the printer, selected "ICE doughnut" in Photoshop, but it just printed out a sticky mess. Picture looks horrible, but the mug tastes nice. Please help!

Paul, maybe you can help? We just got 2 of these donuts from {insert local supermarket here} and I had a go at pressing the first one. It became very flat in the press despite the low pressure I used. It smelt lovely but I can't help thinking I'm doing something wrong. Please help as I don't want to waste the 2nd donut. Also, do you have any experience of using unsupported jam in these donuts? I'm told that the taste is far better but Sawgrass Preservatives own the jammy patent and hunt down anyone using anything that even resembles a strawberry in conjunction with Donuts.

Paul I have the same problem, except that I am using custard doughnuts. Whilst the doughnut cooks well in the press, it is leaving a yellow outline on the garment. Do you think this could be a problem with the colour profile?

Last time I saw a yellow outline like this, was with someone's 'print on cotton' system, but that was supposed to go after the item was washed. I'll let you know if the yellow also comes out when I wash this item.

Silly man! Don't you know to use a mug press, not a flatbed? I recommend the BMS press called the DF00l (short for "Doughnut, FOOL!"):wink:

Aha, this could be where I'm going wrong then, silly me. OK, I've had another go using a mug press but it just isn't working for me. This time I'm getting an apple smell and I wonder if....oh, hang on...I think I'm using the wrong donut here, sorry folks.

Am I cooking too long though?

Are you using the special insert - like the ones used inside polymer mugs? No? Well, that's your problem, then.
