A simple search and bobs ya uncle - cheap envelopes - free delivery over £40.00 (each envelope would be 4.5p each including vat/delivery) I don't buy from here, just found it on google - I pay half that price

Bottom line is I cant post an empty envelope for some of the prices I see on ebay.

You asked how the ebay seller could do this then proceeded to show workings out, and breakdown, on the ebay sellers item.
I believe you when you say your mousemats are too heavy - and I also believe you that yours are sublimation mousemats - but that is not what you asked you asked how is this possible.

Well it is possible for the ebay seller as he finds mega cheap mousemats (non sub), a lot cheaper envelopes than the peeps on here, and sells a shed load for a few pennies profit.

Ultra cheap mousemats by the thousands shipped from China - maybe 15p.
Ebay & paypal fees in the pennies.
Envelope & label maybe 5p.
Postage will be the real kicker at around 50p for second class.

Profit margin maybe around 10p ish per mat. Not that shabby for just envelope stuffing.

The rubber on a non sub mouse mat is considerably lighter. In fact I think the envelope is probably heavier.

I said you are comparing oranges to apples because they are two different products. Yours is a personlised item. theirs isn't. Its a bit like me calling you when you were a driving instructor. Lets say you taught people to drive Lorries, I ask for a quote and then say but BSM do it a lot cheaper with their Fiesta's. Both companies teach someone how to drive but in different vehicles.

If you want to see how cheap Mouse mats are when they are not personalised call Listawoods and ask for a quote for 20,000 or so.

It does all get very frustrating though?
Customers are forever quoting, oh but I can get it for this.
I know they are not the same, but it is still damaging for us.
