JSR, i have worked out that the print area of a mug is 70 x 250 mm on an asda mug. I have a TMT htp twin mug press and they say to leave a 20mm gap from each side of the mug, does the halogen allow a smaller gap? I would love to print under the handle..just to be diiferent. :D

For anyone still hesitating, make sure you get in before the offer runs out. At £5.99 they're a bargain!

Even if you feel it's too late for this Christmas, mugs made from these templates will make for great "eleventh hour" presents for anyone you've forgotten to buy for.

If you're anything like me, the Christmas period is so hectic that presents for family and friends are just about always the last thing on the list! :D

In theory, yes. I don't know how your mug press works but, in the oven, the entire mug reaches sublimation temperature while a mug press is always going to be cold around the handle (because the handle sticks out of the blanket).

Depending on the size of your wrap to size of mug, you could print right up to the the handle. With careful cutting of paper and placing of tape there should be no reason why you can't print under the handle (of course there would be no pressure from the wrap there so you'd need to have plenty of tape).

I tend to treat my halogen oven in pretty much the same way as my mug press. I don't want to be offering something that can only be done in the oven but can't be done in the press - because that means that one machine can't back up the other and becomes indispensable. That's okay if you want to buy spare machines, but if you only have one of each it pays to be cautious, I think.
