A quick question - this may be unrelated, but are you experiencing problems when your cartridge ink level is at the lower end? (i.e nearly empty)

the only way it might work Karen is to use a syringe and physically put the ink into the carts
this would work for a short time until it wanted more ink but worth a go as a stop gap

If it gets things going I'll try anything!! Where would I syringe the ink into? Presumably through the bung used to reprime?

Thanks everyone for your advice, much appreciated! :-)
I managed to syringe a bit of magenta directly into the cartridge and, lo and behold, the prints were coming through perfectly - still can't work out why syringing magenta cleared the other missing nozzles but hey-ho!!
Anyway, I have managed to produce the stock needed for this week and I'll worry about what I'm going to do with it all next after the weekend. Although it does seem refillables are the future...
Thanks again, if it weren't for the forum and your help I would definitely taken a sledgie to the whole thing by now!

Doesn't seem to make any difference with mine to be honest, I have problems whatever the ink level!! :-/

Hi, we're having the same problems. Only with Cyan tho' !!
Printer only purchased back end of 2010 along with ciss.
Have tried all methods indicated in this thread including refillable carts, but to no avail.
Think I'll bin it and splash out on an A3 Ricoh........
May try the Magic Bullet method first!!
If that doesn't work then I'll use the Silver Bullet method.
Barry.
