You wouldn't be able to anyway, the seller is currently away, which goes back to what John said about consistent supplies.Bob700;44243 wrote:I was going to take a chance on 36 mugs but not with that feedback.............thanks purpledragon

Re: Measurements...
In the few I've had from Coralgraph, I've not had a broken one. The last couple of boxes I bought came double-packed, so presumably they've learned from past mistakes.
The only issue I had was when I bought in two boxes of 10oz mugs and one of them turned out to be 11oz (I don't do 11oz mugs). Henry immediately arranged to send out a replacement box and picked up the wrong ones at the same time.
Mistakes can happen. It's how they are dealt with that's important and, on that scale, I can't fault Coralgraph. I recall one supplier when I started out in this business who sent out mugs so bad that they weren't even handwash-safe, despite being sold as "dishwasher safe". When I complained, their only response was to sell them as handwash-only - thus lumbering me with mugs I couldn't sell. I don't hold a grudge, but I do have a long memory when it comes to poor customer service.
With the Coralgraph mugs, I've not seen any of the old "pinprick issue" that's been posted about before either. An additional bonus is that the boxes they come in don't have the supplier's name emblazoned all across the side, so I can reuse them for shipping mugs out to my customers. I hate it when suppliers insist on putting their names all over the boxes. Why do they do this? It's not like my customers needs to know who my suppliers are. Some suppliers seem obsessed with getting contact with our customers.

Re: Measurements...
We bought 72 mugs (10oz) from coralgraph after Paul and Justin had said how good they were. They were delivered in perfect condition and we printed them with Ricoh GX7000 (sublijet R inks) using trupix paper pressed 170 deg for 150 seconds, the finished mugs looked great. 72 mugs with differing St George designs on them.
They where sold yesterday at a music gig yesterday and we got a text an hour before the official start time saying they were selling as quick as she could unpack them, and people were commenting how great they looked.
Jack.

If at first you don't succeed, read the manual.
Re: Measurements...
Shouldn't have to ask Paul, when I buy something I EXPECT it to arrive in one piece, and be usable straight out of the box. The few crap boxes I had weren't the first time this has happened when buying so called cheap mugs. It has happened in the past on a few occasions from the same supplier, previous times there were only 3 or 4 mugs per case that were damaged.Iam sure if you willing to add extra 15p to mug price henry will be happy to pack them all in bubble wrap
Horses for courses - some people don't mind losing a few mugs per case - I prefer to know that 36 mugs will arrive in one piece, and my customers prefer mugs that they are all the same size too.

Re: Measurements...
i would think that the mugs are packed in bubble wrap at the manufacturers i doubt very much that martin from bms gets scotty to put each mug in a bubble wrap bag before dispatch. ive never had mugs from coralgraph apart from a sample so i cant really comment on them (though the mug was very good ), though paul and justin do seem to hold coralgraph in high esteem but the firm does advertise through the forum so it pays to speak kindly of sponsors. Personally i would suggest that its upto the seller to ensure items reach the customer in show room condition i would certainly expect replacements for any breakages recieved in transit. i have to say though over the years i mustve bought thousands of mugs from bms and have never had a breakage yetPaul;44248 wrote:John. Re: Measurements...
I doubt if that's the reason. I think quite highly of Coralgraph, and it doesn't benefit me to do so one bit.purpledragon;44255 wrote:though paul and justin do seem to hold coralgraph in high esteem but the firm does advertise through the forum so it pays to speak kindly of sponsors.

Re: Measurements...
I certainly don't favour any Supplier according to what level of sponsorship they give, I use several Suppliers for my own stock but in response to this particular thread, I do choose to use Coralgraph mugs after long term extensive testing.
Re: Measurements...
We bought a batch of 72 mugs from CG, half of them smashed on delivery, maybe then half of what remained developed faults during pressing. Not bought mugs from them since, switched to BMS mainly and had no breakages.
Am not saying it is entirely CG's fault, but they do choose what packaging their mugs are sent out in, and which couriers they use.
