It's the least I should blooming get! Just be nice to have a working printer ;-) I'm not too happy with the printer running for so long constantly but I'm just doing as I'm told :-)

I'd guess the printer would be well able to handle that amount of printing...it is an industrial strength printer after all.

The printer can handle it no problem but it will not fix the problem and could mke it worse. That amount of ink will saturate the pump cap and flush box. Change the pump cap. Change the dampers if these done work then the heads faulty. Throwing more and more ink at it is not the answer any good engineer will tell you that

Update time. One set of PRN printed files and nozzle check perfect, left printer for a couple of days and nozzle check still perfect! First time ever. Sawgrass insisted I printed all 8 for each channel, that turned out to be a nightmare. It went through cleaning cycles when it decided it needed to and subsequently filled my waste tank (despite SG saying it wouldn't) Nozzle check after many hours of printing is worst I've ever seen but this is probably down to the last cleaning cycle being skipped as not enough space for the wast ink! The whole point of this exercise, I was led to believe, was to avoid cleaning procedures!

Left urgent message for tech support to call me Monday night, nothing. Two emails and still nothing. Shocking service from SG.

I couldn't agree more! Surely do one, run tests and go from there?? Nope, waste 79m paper and £500 worth of ink!

Take out the capping station and the other aid grid waste pipe. Flush it under tap avoiding electrics so tilt it. Put it back in do one std clean and print.

Still under warranty so I'm not touching it and giving them an excuse not to send an engineer! Lol.
