Thats more or less my method although i use unisub placemats as its pretty close to a mug colour thanks for the reply guys.

Hey Jimmy I know I may be late to this but I've not picked any paper to use yet (only getting hardware this week) so I'd love to get some samples if you are still sending any out

Pretty much like Craig we too are only just in the start up stages of a small home business so would like to try some samples if possible please. I'm a firm believer in finding something that works well and then sticking with it rather than chopping and changing all the time to save a penny here and there, so to start of with something worthwhile instead of trying many different ranges would be an ideal start for us.

Today saw me having some time to myself so I popped in the studio and did a profile for the paper and unisub mdf plaques. My thought being that a range of photographs from B+W through pastel colours to vibrant blues and all sorts in between was going to be a good challenge.
Conclusion.
Excellent definition, depth of colour, and colour accuracy.
Can't say much else. As I run down my current stock I shall replace with the Jet Stream paper.

I have sent a PM, would like to try out a paper sample, I have tried 2 papers and am having issues with both.
