As I am based in North Wales and knowing that we are a tiny bit behind the rest of the U.K. I am expecting payment on or around April 12 2022 [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I wasn't really going to apply for the grant, I'd rather try and get by without it. but my accountant told me to so i had to email the business rates team for my local council and get a form to fill in and email back which i did monday. Now just a case of waiting.

Grant arrived in account today for us. Least i can pay staff their 80% now this month as i doubt furlough repayments will be up and running until May at earliest.

Has anyone received it that does not actually need it, but qualifies under the SBRR ? you could invest it in premium bonds? then it is there when you need to pay it back !

TBH I don’t need it (depending on how long this lasts) but will not invest it on something like PB as the tax implications are a bit of a minefield.

I will probably leave it in the current account as I think the interest rate in savings is around -25% at the moment [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
