How do you guys make your templates i've got a couple of cases I don't have a easy template for mainly the htc one m8 , do you scan the load them into photoshop and then do proofs as 'create cliping mask i've just had a go with a s5mini but its not quite how the other templates i've got over the years.

What do you mean by template? Do you mean 3D mockup or flat template for building the final design? Because originally I was going to tell you how I create my templates so I can build the designs in Photoshop but then you mention proofs and masks so I'm no longer sure.
