DSF

Today is the third time this error has occurred and getting very tired of it. First time was under warranty from BMS just over a year ago and now twice outside warranty. I did read somewhere on this forum that some owners actually had their machines replaced due to this error ... why didn't i get the option from BMS ?? .... i was told to reset the machine with a code. Anyway today is the third time the code (SC2212) has occurred. BMS or Sawgrass should have recalled these machines and sorted it out.

If i have to replace it at my cost i doubt very much i will buy another Ricoh ... so again could anyone please tell me how i reset the machine again ..

I rang BMS this afternoon but got no answer ...

and just to add .. the first time i had the problem the inks were only half empty. BMS sent me a new set which i installed and then followed the reset code they sent. This time again the inks are only half empty ......... so now what .. do i again need a new set of inks even though these are not empty ?

Have you tried speaking to Sawgrass support?

Not sure who gave you a code but I'm not aware of a code to reset this. The reset process is to install a brand new set of carts in the printer and to tell the printer this is a factory reset so it primes from new effectively.

The printer isn't a Sawgrass printer but is warrantied by Sawgrass for a year from purchase.

I hav now got same prob. Butt error code is sc28113. Bloody annoying I have Mother's Day orders to get done
