Re: Help with Lunch Bags, Pencil Cases and Backpacks

Hi
I'm having trouble getting the following items to work right!
Lunch bags from BMS, used a mouse mat underneath to try and raise it up but struggled to get full colour in the corners as it doesn't go completely flat due to the stitching etc, I could be being picky I guess, how does everyone else get full colour print to work on these? also the black fabric burns or dye comes out as there was brown on the transfer paper that touched this bit?
Filled pencil case from TTP - again used mouse mats inside the front but this time it's hard to get it to take right up to the edge that is at the edge of the press, I was tempted to put the whole thing in but I haven't another one to test!
Red and blue backpacks from BMS - only have A4 printer and you need to allow a good few mm extra so you don't get white gaps and don't want to risk printing right up to the edge of the paper just encase I get ink on the roller. But the blue part of the removable flap seemed to burn also or something from one of my other attempts got onto it as it was like splodges of brown glue.
Also tried the drawstring bags from Xpres but the drawstrings themselves melt and I can't keep these off the platen as I have a DK20s which is 16 x 20".
I was looking at getting a print and cut machine for coloured transfers on non sublimation bags etc but with the trouble I'm having with these, I've going off the idea but other people seem to sell these so wonder what I'm doing wrong or maybe I have too big a press?
Thanks
Lianne
